What is the ADSE 550 used for?2026-09-24T14:33:50+02:00

The ADSE 550 aircraft pitot-static tester generates controlled pressure and vacuum to simulate flight conditions while the aircraft remains on the ground.

Maintenance technicians can use it to verify altitude, airspeed and vertical speed indications, perform pitot and static leak tests, and check pressure-dependent onboard instruments.

The ADSE 550 can be connected to aircraft pitot tubes and static ports using compatible ATEQ / Cobra Systems pitot-static adapters and test kits.

What is the scope of delivery for the ADSE 550?2026-09-24T14:40:09+02:00

The ADSE 550 Air Data Test Set includes:

  • Hand-operated vacuum pump
  • Hand-operated pressure pump
  • Vacuum and pressure gauges
  • 5 control valves
  • Altimeter
  • Airspeed indicator
  • Two 25 ft hoses
What can the ADSE 550 test?2026-09-24T14:50:17+02:00

It can be used for pitot and static leak testing and for checking instruments such as altimeters, airspeed indicators, vertical speed indicators, air data computers and pressure sensors.

Does the ADSE 550 require an external pressure or vacuum source?2026-09-24T14:51:54+02:00

No. The ADSE 550 uses integrated hand-operated pressure and vacuum pumps, making it a self-contained solution for field and hangar testing.
